Sandy Lockwood has been exhibiting and teaching for nearly 30 years. Her teaching experience is broad and ranges from teaching beginners to teaching at postgraduate level across many areas of ceramics practice.

classes at balmoral pottery

Classes at Balmoral Pottery are small with only six to eight students in each throwing course group. This means all students receive plenty of individual attention. Sandy's classes usually emphasise a particular skill as a foundation for fostering individual creative development.

Balmoral Village is situated in the Southern Highlands 20 minutes north of Mittagong. The pottery is located in a bushland setting and is a unique and beautiful place to work with clay.

Classes for 2009 will be advertised late in 2008. Classes being considered are;

Teapots, cups and saucers

Throwing porcelain

Two part throwing

Throwing bowls
